“As a designer developing a new fragrance, the challenge I set for myself is to imagine the whole finished product. The concept, packaging, bottle design, and above all else, the ultimate finessed fragrance – I really have to love and be excited by every element. When developing Perfecto Fino, I already knew I wanted something that – to me – embodied Central America.”

“Perfecto Fino’s design was to be reminiscent of old cigar boxes; the fragrance, a spicy floral – almost vegetal – scent, with deep acidic influences. The composition was to be built around powerful wood notes, with intense, distinct leather notes.
By version five, the process of refinement between myself and my perfumer had developed the Perfecto Fino scent that we have today – both deeply sensuous and exciting”
