Celebrating Forty Years

This year, our finest festive fragrance celebrates its fortieth birthday. Since its launch in 1984, Frankincense & Myrrh has attained a cult-classic status thanks to an extraordinary accord that fuses warm spices, sweet citruses and aromatics woods.

Czech & Speake sat down with founder Frank Sawkins to discuss the scent’s origins, and to curate a selection of showstopping Frankincense & Myrrh gifts for Christmas 2024.

STORY BEHIND THE SCENT

“I liked the idea of taking ingredients associated with winter, and fusing their exoticism with a herbaceous blend which enriches their unique characteristics and depth.

Warm frankincense, sharp myrrh and a rich, woody base of cedar and sandalwood are topped by the fresh, citric scents of orange, lemon and basil, for a rich-yet-refreshing experience, and a fragrance ready for use all year round.”
