Delivery Queries

How long will my order take to arrive?

Bathrooms:

Please allow us up to 10 working days to process your order. You will receive an email once your order has been dispatched. If your order is sent using DHL you will receive an email on dispatch containing tracking details for your order. If your order requires any longer lead time or alternative delivery arrangements we will contact you via the email address used when the order was placed.

Please note that the delivery service selected on checkout applies only from the time the order is processed for despatch. i.e. a 48 hour service will take up to 48 hours from the time the order is despatched – not from the time the order was placed.

If you have not received your order by the times stated please let us know as soon as possible, we will be unable to help you if more than 3 months have passed from the date of dispatch.

We are not always able to track your order at every stage of delivery but we can try and track your order for you should you encounter any delays. If you still have not received your order after the normal 15 day (for UK orders) or 28 day (for international orders) delivery period has expired, you can contact our customer services team on customer.service@czechandspeake.com.

How are bathroom products delivered?

Most bathroom products deliveries will be made by DHL, smaller items may go by Royal Mail. Orders for particularly large, bulky or fragile items palletised delivery will be required and can be provided within the United Kingdom only. Please contact us on customer.service@czechandspeake.com if your order contains such items.

Fragrances:

Most fragrances orders will be despatched on the same day for orders placed before 12pm GMT. Orders placed after that time will be despatched the following working day. The delivery period will then be according to the service chosen;

UK:

Royal Mail Signed For 2nd Class: delivery between 3-5 working days following placement of the order, signed for meaning someone will need to be at the delivery address to receive the delivery.

Royal Mail 2nd Class: delivery between 3-5 working days following placement of the order.

Royal Mail Signed For 1st Class: delivery between 1-3 working days following placement of the order, signed for meaning someone will need to be at the delivery address to receive the delivery.

Royal Mail 1st Class: delivery between 1-3 working days following placement of the order.

DHL Domestic Express 9:00: delivery before 9am the working day following placement of the order.

DHL Domestic Express 12:00: delivery before midday the working day following placement of the order.

DHL Domestic Express: delivery within 5 working days following placement of the order.

What are the postage costs for web shop orders?

Fragrances:

Our shopping cart will automatically calculate shipping costs on the basis of the content of your basket and the shipping destination. All shipping charges are given as estimates. In most cases these will be correct but given the variability of packaging requirements and additional costs for shipping to certain destinations additional payment may be required. This is particularly the case for items classed as dangerous goods (most liquid fragrances) – please see detailed note below. We will always contact you before taking payment in such situations. If you do not agree to the additional charges we will happily issue a full and prompt refund.  

Dangerous Goods

Many of our fragrance products contain alcohol as the base spirit for colognes etc. and therefore require special handling in many cases – especially for larger (over 200ml in total) and international orders. In general the web shop shipping system should recognise these cases and apply the appropriate shipping charge. However, these shipping charges are always an estimate and we may need to contact you for further payment if your order falls into the ‘dangerous goods’ classification.

Large and Fragile Some of our bathrooms products are very large and often also quite fragile. In such cases it may not be possible to complete your checkout through the web shop and you will be advised to contact us to arrange an appropriate shipping method. Even in cases where this does not occur we may contact you to determine the best shipping method and agree a shipping cost.  

Can I track my order?

For all orders shipped via DHL a tracking number will be generated and sent to you at the time of checkout.

Royal Mail services ‘Signed For’ services will have a tracking number generated and emailed to you on despatch. Standard 1st and 2nd class services have no tracking.
